PADI Discover Scuba Diving

BEGINNER
A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world. If you want to try scuba diving but aren’t quite ready to take the full scuba certification course, the Discover Scuba Diving option is great!

Able to swim, medically fit for diving, 10 years or older

PADI Open Water Diver – Full Course

BEGINNER
Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. The course includes 
e-learning, a pool session, and four ocean dives.

Prerequisites

Able to swim, medically fit for diving, 10 years or older

Total time commitment

3-4 days (plus the time it takes to complete your e-learning)

Price

Price: $500, plus the price of the charter for each boat day $1750 (e-learning not included)

PADI Open Water Diver – Referral

BEGINNER
Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. This option is for diver that have already completed their e-learning and pool session with another dive shop, and just need to complete their ocean dives.

Able to swim, medically fit for diving, 10 years or older

Advanced Open Water Diver

CONTINUING EDUCATION
The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. You’ll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving, and make three specialty dives of your choosing.

Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification), 12 years or older

Total time commitment

2-3 days (plus the time it takes to complete your e-learning)

Price

$300, plus the price of the charter for each boat day $1750 (e-learning not included)

Rescue Diver

CONTINUING EDUCATION
Learn to prevent and manage problems and gain confidence in your skills as a diver by taking the Rescue Diver course. This course requires you are Emergency First Responder and CPR certified. We offer this certification course alongside the Rescue course if you do not already have it.

Prerequisites

Advanced Open Water Diver, current Emergency First Responder certification (or qualifying certification), 12 years or older

Total time commitment

3-4 days (plus the time it takes to complete your e-learning)

Price

$500, plus the price of the charter for each boat day $1750 (e-learning not included). Emergency First Responder course is $200

Divemaster

PROFESSIONAL
Share your passion for scuba diving by becoming a PADI Divemaster. As a Divemaster you’ll supervise scuba diving activities and assist with scuba classes. PADI Divemaster is the first step in your diving career.

Rescue Diver, 40 logged dives, EFR certification within 24 months, 18 years or older

Nitrox Diver

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives, more flexible dive profiles, and shorter surface intervals. We strongly recommend this course to all certified divers!

Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification), 12 years or older

Fish ID Specialty Course

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Learn to recognize and identify local Hawaiian fish families and species and their characteristics and use this knowledge to complete a REEF.org fish survey as a citizen scientist!

Underwater Photography

Introduction to underwater photography for divers of all levels with basic (point-and-shoot) camera set-ups. Course will cover camera settings and photography techniques and methods.

Open Water Diver, own camera set-up

Total time commitment

2 days – 1 dry session and 1 boat day, 2 dives

Advanced Underwater Photography

For divers who want to switch from point-and-shoot to more advanced camera set-ups. Course includes in-depth lessons on camera settings, equipment maintenance, shooting techniques and animal behavior, post-production, and everything you need to know to create award-winning underwater photos. Learn to shoot wide-angle, macro, and super-macro. Don’t know what camera, housing, and strobes to purchase? Give us a call and we can help you build your dream rig!

3 - 4 Days: 3 dry sessions (approximately 2 hours each) and 3 boat days, 6 dives total
